Loveless in Hobart Town

A folk opera, which I am pleased to support. You are invited to the Grassroots Unions Choir's last performance in Hobart before going to perform alongside Billy Bragg at the Tolpuddle Folk Festival in the UK. Please support this group which has worked hard to write, perform and produce this folk opera about George Loveless who was a political prisoner - one of the Tolpuddle Martyrs - sent to Van Diemen's Land in the 1830's. Sunday 22nd May at Town Hall Hobart 3pm. Donations at the door will help support the choir's trip to perform at Tolpuddle in July.
