CREATING MICRO HOUSING IN INNER HOBART
There are plenty of housing solutions. You will love this one that makes use of buildings that already exist and reinvents them into much needed housing.
I recently caught up with architect Mat Hinds from Taylor and Hinds Architect for a look through the new micro-housing that has been built on Liverpool St in Hobart.
I absolutely love this renewal of the original Millington Coffin Workshop into these one and two bedroom apartments, offering condensed living including high calibre dining experiences all on the one site.
This is a project that was approved when I was chair of the Hobart Planning Committee, so it’s very satisfying to see the results.
