Bus Service - Reliability

My question is from Mary, from Lutana. She says: my son is struggling to get to uni classes on time, because often his bus doesn't arrive. He spends longer waiting at the bus stop than the journey takes and feels anxious not being able to rely on the bus, even with GPS tracking. Because he can't rely on the buses, he ends up having to drive. What is the government doing to increase reliability and regularity of bus services and to improve the real‑time tracking?
